POPULAR TEACHER-ADMINIISTRATOR REV. RUSTY WILLIAMS TAKES MEDICAL LEAVE We are sorry to confirm that well-liked and highly respected professor and department director, Rev. Rusty Williams, must take a medical leave. Rusty has an inoperable tumor in his lower spine. Although it is thankfully benign, it is causing such extreme pain that the pharmaceutical intervention is so powerful that it makes it impossible for Rusty to handle his managerial and student obligations at this time. Meanwhile, our chancellor, Janice Learman, is supervising a team of substitutes who will cover for Rusty until he is able to return. We're sorry that many of you will be having new faculty mentors assigned for the foreseeable future. certainly appreciate your prayers.
